Pur-Acryl Top Coat Paint

For new surfaces: The surface must be cleaned of grease and dirt and then sanded before being painted. Metal surfaces must be sandblasted to a minimum degree of Sa2½ and then within the next 6 hours primed with Epoxy or Polyurethane Anticorrosive Primer. The last coat can be applied after the primer has fully dried (6-8 hours). Previously Painted Surfaces: Clean off loose, blistered paint from the surface, fill in pits and scratches with putty and then sand. Clean off all loose dust from the surface.

4 units of Pur-Acryl Paint, 1 unit of Pur-Acryl Paint Hardener, 5-15% acrylic thinner.

(At 23°C and 50% relative humidity) Dries in 1-2 hours. Time to wait for second coat: At least 24 hours. Time to become chemically resistant: 7 days.

Apply with a conventional air spray gun with air pressure: 3 - 4 bar, nozzle diameter of 1.4 - 1.6 mm and an airless spray gun, roller and brush for smaller areas. If any bubbling is seen when applying with a roller, remove with a soft, long haired brush using light sweeping motions.
