Politex Glaze Glossy

This is a solvent-based, polyurethane base, single component, gloss parquet varnish that can be applied on all kinds of parquet. It is an extremely hard, elastic and gloss varnish that is highly resistant to scratching and corroding. Protects the surfaces against many corrosive substances such as detergent, alcohol, oil, tea and fruit juice.

Surface Preparation&Application
Old parquets are cleaned from their old varnished by scraping and their dusts are removed. After the old and new parquets are primed with Cellulosic Filler Varnish, they are once again cleaned from dust with scraping or sanding process. Varnish should be applied in 2-3 coats by waiting 6 to 12 hours between each coat.

Ready to use.
Coverage Area
15m²/L on single coat depending on the absorbency of wood.
Drying Time
At 20°C and 50% relative humidity, the paste fully-dries in 12 hours. Achieves its physical and chemical durability in maximum 7 days.
