This is a double-component, non-sagging, highly resistant and adhesive, solvent-free, epoxy-based filler putty. Additionally, it offers high resistance to water and chemicals. An easily sanded light putty that is used for leveling surfaces at wood, steel, CTP and aluminum marine vessels as a material that is suitable for thick filling in wide spaces since it doesn’t put too much weight on the application surface due to its low specific weight and doesn’t spill or overhang at vertical surfaces.

Surface Preparation&Application
Epoxy Light Putty should be applied on clean, oil-free pastes or epoxy primers after sanding with 60-80 grit sanding paper. Surfaces treated with Epoxy Light Filler should be sanded before the application of a top or mid-layers. It should be applied in thin layers to fill deep cracks and indents. 1 unit of Epoxy Light Putty and 1 unit of Epoxy Light Putty Hardener should be blended and waited for 5-10 minutes before applying with spatula and floating rule.

Thinning / Blending Ratio
1 unit of Epoxy Light Putty + 1 unit of Epoxy Light Putty Hardener by weight. Use without thinning.

Coverage Area
Mixture consumption (kg/m²) = 0.3 kg/m². Application thickness (mm) = 2-3 mm. Coverage area varies in practice according to surface roughness and spillage.

Drying Time
24 hours. Minimum 24 hours resting time before the application of another coat. Reaches mechanical resistance in 4 to 6 days.

Recommended Application Tools
Spatula, putty knife, floating rule.
