Two component, reaction dried, coal-tar containing, high solid coating, hardened with epoxy resin-based polyamide hardener, used for priming surfaces where high corrosion resistance is required. Can be applied on metal surfaces exposed to water, seawater, chemicals and wearing.

Surface Preparation&Application
Surfaces should be cleaned of old paint film, oil, dust, dirt, moist, chloride, sulphate salts, rust, rolled mud, tempering, casting - welding burrs etc. which will reduce adhesion on the application surface. Metal surfaces must be sanded at minimum Sa2 ½ (ISO 8501-1, SSPC-SP10) (sand blasting), prime the sanded surface with Epoxy Anticorrosive Primer or Polyurethane Anticorrosive Primer in 6 hours. Epoxy Coal Tar can be applied after the primer has hard dried (in 4 to 6 hours). Epoxy Coal Tar can be used as a primer on its own. Mix the paint and the hardener in the given ratio until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Rest the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes for preliminary reaction and apply with the recommended apparatuses. The surface temperature must be minimum 3 Celsius degrees higher than the dew temperature. Do not apply near dew point or on wet, damp surfaces. For the topcoat application wait for 24 hours between coats. Application Temperature: Min. +10°C / Max. + 30°C
