Epoxy Coating
This is a double-component, reaction-dry, epoxy resin based, solvent-free floor coating and insulating material that spreads by itself leaving a hard film behind. Provides a hygienic, dust-free, aesthetic, easily cleanable, smooth or textured (due to aggregate addition) medium level nonslip surface.
The application surfaces should be cleaned from dirt, dust, and should be sanded or roughened. The repairing and priming tasks should be completed before application. Monitor the dew point during application and avoid treating moist or wet surfaces. Blending with the hardener at the correct ratio is important.
3 units of Epoxy Coating + 1 unit of Epoxy Coating Hardener by weight.
Varies depending on the application equipment and requested surface shape. In roller application, 0.6 - 0.7 kg/m². In self-leveling surface application, 1.5 - 2 kg/m².
At 20℃, the coating is touch-dry in 6 hours, antidust-dry in 12 hours and hard-dry in 24 hours. For mechanical process, fully dry in 4 to 6 days.
