"We see very positive, long-term planned, researched and thoroughly considered applications have been made about coloring spaces. This serious renewal in exterior and interior color selections creates the early steps of a long-term color adventure particularly in expanding cities. We can summarize the new consumer tendencies in color preferences as a minimalist lifestyle aspiration, quest for lightness and a need for simplification.
This year, Turkey has turned towards the shades of white and grey for the exterior as much as she never did. Particularly the new rising structures have been colored in a manner not to strain the eyes and create a perception of color which rises towards the sky. For city skylines, simpler, shade to shade transitive color applications have been preferred.
While the shades of white and grey are also prominent for the interior; the pursue for the personalization of spaces with colorful touches also continues. Salient colors which entered the list in the low ranks are an important indicator that the use of emphasizing colors for interior coloring has started to become popular in Turkey. The consumer creates vibrant color highlights in small sections even in the spaces colored with white or beige-like shades.
Pastel shades such as blue, green and purple as well as beiges with a tough of red are highly preferred as the highlight colors. Furthermore, wall paint applications with transitive color shades have also started to be applied for interiors pleasantly."
Shades of White and Grey for the Exterior
According to the comments of Zeynep Tarhan Muslu; Bahama White and Ivory Beach are in a sweet competition for exteriors in the overall Turkey, similar to the previous years. Shade to shade transitions created by this couple of colors provides a successful coherence at many geographical structures. Another highly preferred color is Snow White. The most striking shade of white of the year is Smoke White by far. The strong dominance of the shade of grey in the lists for the exteriors hints that Turkey has gone through a serious simplification with respect to color preferences for the exterior.
Cream and Beige Colors are Dominant for Interiors
For interiors, primarily Charismatic Cream with warmth in its pigments, followed by warm yellow touches of Light Ivory, Sahara Beige and Beach Beige are those most preferred. Furthermore, more innovative modern and lightness-filled colors, Plain Beige, Romance, Plain White and New Pearl are highly preferred, providing the simplification in color preferences. In addition to white-like colors, light pastel shades Happy Blue and Royal Lila are also on demand. Particularly those who seek alternatives for white prefer light pastels.

For exteriors, Pink of the Maldives has been included among the preferred colors. The Mediterranean, fond of creating warm couples, consumes Snow White and Chocolate abundantly.
The Black Sea Region, uses the tones compatible with its green nature for exteriors, quite rightfully, and quite in line with the fashion. The Black Sea, which does not like diverting from beiges, added Champagne, a warm tone among the dominant colors for exteriors into its list. For Exteriors, Bahama White and Ivory Coast, which are minimalist and modernist colors with the touch of yellow, created a major impression while the inclusion of the Hurricane Grey creates a contrast which perfectly suits the Black Sea.
